Chapter 2.17- Loin Fruit

17 Feb

Yo. So I spend a lot of time talking about Noemi, don’t I? I feel sort of guilty cause it’s technically still generation 2 and I never talk about Oscar.

Screenshot-7

I feel like I’ve pretty much established the fact that Noemi’s a shit disturber and she plays with her friends a lot.

So let’s see what Oscar does these days.

Screenshot-2

Work.

Screenshot-4

Neighborhood Patrol.

Screenshot-24

Kissing.

Screenshot-25

Aw.

Screenshot-26

Daddy duty.

He’s pretty much entered the most normal, least dangerous part of his life so far. It’s not interesting to write about, sorry.

Screenshot-27

WOAH FLOATING BABY.

Screenshot-21

Speaking of Sam, he ages up later today.

Babies are seriously creepy.

Screenshot-19

Srsly.

Screenshot-20

*laser eyes*

Screenshot-12

We hadn’t seen any of the military buddies in a while, so Oscar decided to invite Juan Marco and Denise over for dinner. Apparently they’re dating (d’awwww) and Juan Marco cut his hair. He’s like 40, so he’s graying now.

Screenshot-11

Noemi thinks Juan Marco’s the shit, cause he tells her funny jokes sometimes. He’s still cool, guys.

Screenshot-9

Oscar was eager to show off his newest loin fruit to his friends, who were thrilled, naturally.

Screenshot-37

Noemi can’t wait for her little brother to age up so she can teach him all kinds of things.

Noemi: See Sam? This is how you build a tower, look.

Screenshot-38

Noemi: And this is how you smash it down!!

Screenshot-29

Jemyn was becoming increasingly industrious in the kitchen.

Oscar: Whatcha doin babe?

Jemyn: Making cookies.

Oscar: What for?

Screenshot-31

Jemyn: I need them.

Screenshot-36

Oscar: Sure.

Screenshot-35

Jemyn: Oh my god, pancakes. With grapes.

Screenshot-41

Oscar: Babe?

Screenshot-40

Jemyn: What?

Screenshot-46

Oscar: Are you okay?

Screenshot-42

Jemyn: I think I’m pregnant.

Screenshot-47

Noemi: Wow.

Oscar: No kidding.

Yeah. She wouldn’t stop craving everything that exists.

Screenshot-33

Sam: It is tiiiiiiime!

Screenshot-44

Sam: I shall now morph into my secondary form! I shall become….

Screenshot-49

Adorable!

Screenshot-50

Aww, I love him. I never really introduced him, but he’s excitable and loves the heat. So pretty much your run of the mill cute kid.

Screenshot-54

Everyone’s pretty stoked about how much more interesting he has become. Oscar reads to him…

Screenshot-56

Jemyn tucks him into bed with a kiss.

Screenshot-62

And Noemi is just happy to have someone to play with.

Screenshot-63

Oh my god.

Screenshot-64

Why is he so CUTE.

Screenshot-60

So it’s winter, and that means it’s really funny to watch small animals walk around.

Screenshot-65

Winter is tough on the Predators. They still have lots of fun, but Noemi has noticed that they’re not as energetic as usual and mostly just want to stay in the treehouse.

Screenshot-66

While she was issued a nice thick snowsuit from the military, the other kids have hardly any more clothes than they did in the summer. Noemi offers to let them use her mitts and hat, but they still get cold really quickly.

Screenshot-67

Their games don’t last long, and they usually end up retreating to the treehouse right away.

Screenshot-75

One day when Noemi is 11,  Gerard doesn’t show up. Noemi spends all morning keeping a lookout for him. Finally she asks Meg what’s going on.

Screenshot-71

Meg: He’s thirteen now, Noemi, and he’s getting pretty big. Once that happens the Dogs notice you and make you join them.

Noemi: What?

Meg: He joined the people that you call the rebels. They’re not really dogs, they’re an organization with a long fancy name. But everyone calls them the Madhouse Militia, even they call themselves that. Everyone in it is a Mad Dog.

Noemi: Why would he want to be a Mad Dog?

Meg: Because your military is going to create the same controlled society we had before the zombies. The Mad Dogs fight against them so that we can have the freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want. We don’t follow a leader someone else chose for us, we follow whoever’s the strongest, whoever we want. And we were all born there, so we’re supposed to join them when we grow up.

Screenshot-70

Noemi: Are there girls in it?

Meg: Sort of. They don’t fight, but they can stay at the Madhouse if they do other stuff.

Noemi: Like what?

Meg: Make the men happy.

Noemi: How?

Meg: It doesn’t matter Noemi.

Noemi: Is Derek going to join?

Meg: Probably soon. When he’s bigger he’ll have to.

Noemi: Are you going to go and make the men happy when you’re older?

Screenshot-73

Meg sighed and looked out across the pond.

Meg: Yeah, one day.

Screenshot-69

Noemi: You don’t have to, you know.

Meg: Maybe I want to. They feed you and protect you, and you just have fun all day. It wouldn’t be so bad.

Noemi is quiet.

Meg: Come on, let’s go back in the treehouse. I’m cold.

The girls head back in the treehouse, and Noemi isn’t sure what to think. She’s worried that one day she won’t see her friends again, but is a bit jealous that they get to grow up and join a family that just has fun all the time.

Screenshot-74

On a completely unrelated note, this is Velma’s zombified ex-boyfriend, Ryan. Zombie Ryan is building a snowman just outside the treehouse.  Sims is weird.

Later guys.
